At around $20, the Ryobi EverCharge 18V and HART 20V hand vacuums are both inexpensive options for quick cleanups around the house, garage, or vehicle. We put them head-to-head to see which budget hand vacuum we'd rather own.
Both get the job done, and the HART is a cool little vacuum for the money. But if I were buying one today, I'd go with the Ryobi.
The biggest reason isn't necessarily the vacuum itself—it's the ecosystem surrounding it. Ryobi's 18V ONE+ platform is enormous, with batteries that can be used across a huge selection of tools, outdoor equipment, lights, fans, vacuums, and other products. That makes the EverCharge much easier to recommend as something you can build around long term.
The HART remains a good affordable alternative, especially if you already own HART 20V batteries. But starting from scratch, Ryobi gets my pick thanks to the much larger tool ecosystem and long-term versatility of the 18V ONE+ platform.
