Harbor Freight Pittsburg 3/8 In. Drive Metric Color Coded Sockets Review

With so many socket sets to choose from, which ones should you even consider? I decided to check out the Harbor Freight Pittsburg 3/8 In. Drive Metric Color Coded Sockets in both deep and shallow. These are very affordable and well made sockets with a top tier lifetime warranty to back them up.

With pretty easy to read markings and not to mention the fact that they are color coded makes them some of the easiest to find and use sockets we have tested to date.

Quick Specs

  • Color coded for quick size identification

  • Chrome vanadium steel construction

  • Deep well and shallow design

  • Meets ANSI standards

We like the 6 points in the deep sockets and they were definitely the ones we used most in day-today working, but we really wish the shallow ones came in a 6 point as well, the 12 points did slip at times on some bolts.

Overall we loved these sockets and would definitely recommend them! Great sockets, easy to read and see while also being affordable at just $14.99 per set.
