Craftsman 2000 Series 37-in 5-Drawer Tool Cabinet cmst98223bk review

We all need a way to store our tools, Craftsman has been releasing new storage products as fast as ever. We recently picked up this cabinet for around $140 at our local Lowes. Lets check it out!

It fits perfectly in the space we had ready for it in the shop. It feels well constructed and Craftsman claims 18-20 guage steel I-Frame construction.

Not sharp or unfinished steel edges to found, your hands will thank you. Each drawer was smooth and perform great with a load of heavy tools dropped in it.

The top mat was extra thick, I wish it included a simular mat for each drawer. You will need to provide your own the drawers.

While we would have liked to see beefer slides on the drawers, this will be an excellent tool storage solution for any garage or DIYer.

Casters seem solid and rolled nicely around our shop. All in all, this is good tool storage solution for most garages, while for heavy daily use I would go up a few models for more heavy duty drawer rails and slides. Great cabinet, excellent price.
